The turnover of the Dutch solar energy sector increased to 2.424 million EURO in 2014, compared to 1.825 million EURO in 2013, according to recent studies available in the Solar Trend Report 2015.
For the first time in the National Solar Trend Report’s history, extensive research has been done regarding the turnover, profits and employment of the solar industry. The results of the study are not only impressive, but they show that all previous estimates were significantly too low. The turnover of suppliers and installers has increased respectively by 25% - 60% when compared to 2013. The number of full time equivalents (fte) in 2014 has increased by close to 65%!
